Currently Justine is CEO Theland Farm Group, leading their national dairy farming business producing circa 10MkgMS from 26,000 cows on 25 dairy farms located in Canterbury and through the Central North Island. This business has a global agriculture and food strategy focusing on adding value from farms to markets, the connected Theland retail brand is in over 4700 supermarkets throughout China and also sells through online and TV channels.
Justine received the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to the dairy industry and equestrian sports in the 2017 New Year’s Honours, was recognised as the 2015 Hawke's Bay Primary Sector Industry Leader and was named the NZ Dairy Women of the Year in 2013.
Justine has been involved in governance from both CEO and Board roles over the last 15 years. Currently Justine is Chair of the Ag Leaders Health and Safety Action Group with a mission to make New Zealand Farming safer for everyone and is a director of Ata Rangi Pastoral. Justine has a passion for great business and with this as a driver has worked with various industry organisations such as DairyNZ and AWDT developing governance and leadership programs focused on growing governance and business leadership in the Agricultural sector.
